EICR & Electrical Testing in Gloucestershire
PME Services Gloucester Ltd carries out EICRs and electrical inspection and testing for landlords, homeowners and businesses throughout Gloucestershire.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) checks the condition of a property’s fixed electrical installation and identifies damage, deterioration, defects or potentially dangerous conditions.
We provide EICR reports and electrical testing in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Dursley, the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
EICRs for Landlords
Landlords in England must have the electrical installations in their rented properties inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years. The report records the results and the next inspection due date.
PME Services can carry out the inspection and any required remedial electrical work.
Electrical Testing in Gloucestershire
We carry out electrical inspection and testing for homes, rental properties and commercial premises in Gloucester and throughout Gloucestershire.
Testing can identify problems with existing wiring, sockets, consumer units and other fixed parts of the electrical installation.
Commercial EICRs & Fixed Wire Testing
PME Services also carries out EICRs and fixed wire testing for commercial properties.
The inspection provides a record of the electrical installation’s condition and identifies faults or areas requiring further investigation or remedial work.
EICR Results & Remedial Work
EICR observations use standard classification codes including C1 for danger present, C2 for potentially dangerous conditions and C3 where improvement is recommended. An FI indicates that further investigation is required.
An unsatisfactory EICR does not automatically mean a property needs rewiring. PME Services can explain the findings and carry out the necessary remedial work.
